What is AussieDate?
An Australian matchmaking service — not a swipe app. We look for genuine compatibility and only make an introduction when both people say yes. See how it works.
How does matching work?
You build a private relationship profile — values, lifestyle, goals and what you're looking for. We suggest people who fit, each with a Match Confidence and plain-English reasons. If you'd like an introduction, say so; if they do too, you're introduced and can message privately.
What's my Matchability score?
A guide to how complete and matchable your profile is. It climbs as you fill in more about yourself. It never reaches 100 and it's never a guarantee — nobody honest can promise you'll meet "the one".
Does it cost anything?
Founding membership is free. Paid options aren't open yet — when they are, the details will be on the Membership page first.
Who can join?
You need to be 18 or over and in Australia.
Is my date feedback private?
Yes. What you tell us after a date is never shown to the other person. It's only used to make your future suggestions better.
Someone made me uncomfortable — what do I do?
Inside the introduction, use Report a concern and we'll look into it. Our Safety Centre lists support services. If you're in immediate danger, call 000.

Use Forgot password and we'll email you a link to set a new one.
